#Quick&Easy Recipes: Simple Beef Pot Roast

Y'all know we LOVE our slow cooker cookin'! Just see our recent #TipTuesday episode. :)

This super simple pot roast is delicious, always comes out perfectly cooked, and you won't BELIEVE how easy it is!

Here are the #dEATS:


~3 lbs chuck roast (or other fatty beef cut - ask your butcher for recommendations if needed)

2 cups organic carrots (baby or whole, chopped up)

2 diced onions

3 cups diced potatoes

1/2 red wine (optional, can replace with broth)

3/4 cup chicken broth

3 tbsp Worchestshire sauce

2 tbsp minced garlic

Kosher/sea salt

Fresh pepper


1) Rinse the meat, then rub with about 1 tsp of salt on each side to help tenderize it

2) Put the diced carrots, onions, and potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker

3) Put the meat on top of the veggies

4) Add the garlic and then pour in the wine, broth, and Worchestshire sauce - sprinkle with pepper as desired

5) Cook on low for 8 hours (do not open the lid before it's done - even though it'll be tempting! :)

6) ENJOY and impress everyone in your household
