Just because you are safe at home, doesn't mean you can't stay active! You just have to get a little more creative and think outside the gym. 😉
Here are 10 ways we came up with to help you move your body while safe at home!
1️⃣ Start a competition with your quarantine mates. 👯
→ Who doesn't love a little friendly competition?! Create a simple grid with everyone's name to keep track of workouts, and make fun prizes (for example, the loser has to cook dinner, take out the garbage for a week, etc!)
2️⃣ Work standing up. 🖥️
→ It is better for your posture, blood flow, and energy levels. No standing desk? No problem! Get creative: use a box, stack books, etc!
3️⃣ Set a calendar reminder to move your body every hour, on the hour, for at least 3 minutes. 📆
→ You can go up and down the stairs, do jumping jacks, squats, push-ups - you name it, just get your blood pumping!

4️⃣ Play a physical game with your kiddos. 👪
→ Try shooting some hoops in the drive way, wrestling in the living room, or even doing a dance workout online!
5️⃣ Sit on yoga ball instead of a chair. 🔵
→ It's good for strengthening your core, it's fun, and will encourage you to move more throughout the day! We're fan of this one, available for ~$20 on Amazon.
6️⃣ Host a virtual workout with friends! 💪
→ Have everyone join a Zoom or Google Hangout, and screenshare a workout video that everyone can do together
7️⃣ Walk your dog. 🐶
→ Walks are great for blood flow through your body, mental clarity and de-stressing, as well as pup bonding! 😍
8️⃣ Use an exercise band. ⭕

9️⃣ Do sprints in your driveway or a parking lot. 🏃
→ Can't go for a run? No problem-o! Just do sprints - they are faster and more effective anyway!
